Widows in Villages

Mrs. D is 38 years old. Mrs. D's husband died on April 6, 2020 of Covid 19 leaving her five months pregnant with 3 teenage daughters. Connecting Families provided Mrs. D's medical expenses to deliver her fourth daughter and is covering her monthly food expenses for their family.

Mrs. C is 56 years old. She suffered a stroke three years ago and lost her husband on September 18, 2020. Mrs. C is not able to work because of the stroke and needs to depend on her family and others for her daily expenses. Connecting Families paid the medical and funeral expenses for her husband when he passed away and are supporting her monthly by providing her food expenses.

Mrs. I lost her husband in 2013. She had nine children but five of them have already passed away. Although her adult children help her out as much as possible, it is not enough each month. Connecting Families is covering her monthly food expenses and will continue to do so through the duration of Covid 19.

Mrs. M is an 80-year-old widow. Her husband passed away many years ago. She lives in a very small row house.
She is completely dependent on donations from friends, family, and neighbors but due to the coronavirus, her neighbors have not been able to offer her any help since April.
Connecting Families has been providing her with monthly food expenses since the pandemic began.
Providing Help for Horses and the Families of Their Owners on Gili Air
The 25 horse-owners of Gili Air have had no international tourists visiting their island since March. Connecting Families has been helping these owners and their 75 horses by providing money for food and living expenses.
There are 75 horse-owners on neighboring Gili Trawangan and 20 on Gili Meno.
With your help and generosity we would like to help them all in the coming months.

Helping Families in Thailand

When Thailand closed to international tourists and travel in January 2020, some couples who lost their jobs in tourist industries turned to prostitution to buy food for their families.
When hearing of their plight, Connecting Families immediately stepped in, providing full support for the entire duration of the Covid 19 so that families could stay together and go through the pandemic crisis not worrying about how they would buy food and care for their families.
